This photo project came during a very interesting time in 2020. Already there had been so much happening in social justice and my own personal growth when COVID-19 happened. Being in quarantine completely changed the way we operated and engaged with others on a daily basis. As a community organizer, I will say this was frustrating because I was so used to being on the ground and engaging with the community on a personal one-on-one basis. As the weeks rolled on by I started to notice and reconnect with folks and things I had forgotten about or just simply didn't have the time for. This became the silver lining during the pandemic.
